Cover2Cover Books is proud to announce that the fifth title in the Harmony High series is now out!
Two-faced friends is about Lelethu who has always dreamed of the big city. She’s excited to arrive in Cape Town, but soon finds out that things are not as she imagined. Her aunt treats her like a servant and her cousin is unfriendly. So when a cool gang of girls invite her to join their group, she’s overjoyed. But what kind of friends are they really? Will she have to betray her beliefs to stay in their group? And, what will happen if she dares to cross them?
This new Harmony High title is written by seasoned textbook and teen fiction writer Dorothy Dyer. Dorothy is also an experienced English teacher who has previously taught at a range of schools, most recently LEAP Science & Maths School in Pinelands. The FunDza Literacy Trust – Cover2Cover’s non-profit shareholder – assisted by testing the book on learners from Ikamva Youth in Masiphumelele. Their feedback and suggestions were incorporated into the story line to ensure authenticity and high engagement.
